Thank you for learning more about Hope’s Legacy during the 2026 Cville Gives Campaign! We started in 2008 by taking in just one equine and have grown to currently caring for over 100 equines. In 2017, the rescue purchased Castle Rock Farm in Afton as our permanent home after years of renting properties. Our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate horses, minis, mules, and donkeys so that they are ready for their next loving home. Lots of equines need our help, and we are grateful be part of the solution for equines in need. This all would not be possible without the incredible 130 volunteers that show up each week to help care for these amazing animals.
