Celebrating International Women’s Day with Building Goodness

We were honored to host a group of 24 volunteers, working beside Building Goodness and Hope’ Legacy staff, on International Women’s Day to build nine shelters to store supplies near each of our fields. The team at Building Goodness developed the design and prepared the materials to make the most of each volunteer’s time during assembly. It was fascinating to see it all come together in a matter of weeks. The morning started off cloudy and rainy, but the sun soon broke through the clouds as teams prepared foundations at each field and built frames in the Intake Barn. Everyone had a great time and the sheds now keep all of our organized halters, lead ropes, and other supplies dry!
